I’m retiring next year and we are relocating to Florida. In May we are coming out to look at Palm Coast and the surrounding area.  It’ll be during my wife’s birthday and I’d like to take the family to a good seafood restaurant.

What’s a good seafood restaurant in the area. There’s four of us, all adults so a nice but not overly fancy restaurant will do.

Also are there any “you have to go see this” things in the Palm Coast/Flagler County area? We spending a week there and want to check out the area.

St Augustine isn’t too far away. Lots to do there.

I won’t be the typical we’re full guy. I’m assuming you are leaving CA because the tax environment and gun laws suck.  Thus, I’ll further deduce you won’t be voting the way most Californians do.

Enjoy, I’m about an hour north of St Augustine on Amelia Island.  Love it and we have 3+ seasons.

Appreciate it.  We are in Northern California. NorCal is its own state. We are 90% red here. It’s all farm land (almonds, walnuts and fruit).

Honestly I hate everything about this state. The taxes, the government, the roads, the BS politics.  I used to live in TN and wished I never came back to Cali, but I wouldn’t be able to retire at my age anywhere else.

We came out to Florida last October and had a blast. The wife and I drove all over the south part of Florida. About 1200 miles in 10 days lol.

Been a few months since I've been to either of these two but both have been long time local favorites in Flagler Beach.

Can't beat the view at the Funky Pelican on the pier but i've only had breakfasts there.
