What it the scoop on concealed carry at Festivals Acadiens? It looks like it is mostly an open, outdoor venue, so no security checkpoints/entrances? Their website was not informative...
Updated: An FYI to anyone interested, there were no signs or notices in regards to CC, and no security checkpoints. There were a lot of LEO there, but they mostly just stood around. As an aside, the festival was a lot of fun. My wife got to reconnect with her Cajun roots and felt at home again. |

Some one corrected me if I am wrong.
But if they have security. Then you can Not carry. Same as casinos. Not near me, I have never been |

Great festival but Festival International is better.
Just don't stay downtown too late. It gets sketchy. |
