Hey guys got a question for y’all. So I’m not 100% up to date on the happenings in DE, but someone with an AR that said he had to have proof of ownership to register it.

Now this was purchased 16yrs ago in another state. The shop it was bought from was closed down long ago. He doesn’t have an invoice or receipt from that long ago either. Hell, I don’t have an invoice on stuff I bought last year.

It doesn’t have any evil features most states hate. Crowned national match barrel, fixed stock, and so on.

The local shop told him to not worry about it because of all the 2a groups going against it.

So what’s the current route for something like that?

As for the new laws. Hopefully the Courts will throw them out. But for now, it's the law and you can be charged.

When , why would he have to prove it's legality ? Only shoot on private property and don't tell people " I have an AR".
