Lars had a great segment on this. Some who received these check make you realize it’s a vote buy. |

The whole thing stinks. How and why they decided to "refund" money to people without even knowing if they EVER bought tuna or canned chicken. And how much of it would you have had to bought for the $50/120 to be an accurate "refund" of what the overcharging cost you? How much of MY tax money did this crusade cost? How much money did the lawyers make?
No, I didn't get any money, and I DO buy canned tuna and chicken. Rob |

Here is what I said in the other thread:
One showed up in my mailbox, made out to my wife's ex-husband. He has never stepped foot in this state! They are not even looking at who the property owner is as I have owned this place for 20 +years. I had to write a letter, send it with the check and a copy of my ID so they can re-issue the check. Not sure why he chose my house to get one, we hardly ever get canned tuna let alone chicken? My wife moved here in 2008 BTW and was divorced a couple years earlier. The Turd will never get my vote! |
