Taking my daughter throughout New England but have never been to Rhode Island.  Anything worth stopping to see while traveling with a 10 year old girl?  Any restaurants that are worth going to?  Should I drive to Newport?  

Also what are the concealed carry / firearm rules up there?  I've flown through Boston with no issues before but first time to TF Green.

And for things to see, some really good Italian food on federal hill.

Newport is pretty, but a tourist trap.

Jamestown is beautiful as well.

For the ten year old, our Roger Williams Zoo is awesome.
