Not much in Monroe. There is the River Raisin battlefield. Cabela's is about 15 minutes west. There are some good Breweries and restaurants in the Toledo area which is just south. The Toledo Zoo is awesome.

Everything has pretty much been covered.
I’d say check out Eureka Eatery. It’s a gas station that makes a mean chicken sandwich. There’s a family-owned sporting goods store in the nearly abandoned mall that has an indoor archery range. The county fairgrounds occasionally has events going on. If you’re looking for outdoor recreation, there’s some bigger parks in Toledo. I believe the one downtown has a skating rink/path. |
