Has anyone renewed their CHP in Guilford county lately? What was the turn around time?

Put in for my renewal in April of 2023. Took 109 days from the time I turned it in at their office until the permit showed up in the mail.

Dropped my paperwork off 12/21/2023, got an email on yesterday, 2/2/2024, that it had been issued and would be in the mail and arriving in three weeks.

I just received the email stating that my permit has been approved. Should be in the mail in 3 weeks
8 weeks from paperwork drop off to email. On a side note. Does anyone know what the CHP card is made out of? Is it still card stock or is it plastic like a DL? |

I renewed in 2020. So a few years old. But it was still crappy paper then. I doubt its been upgraded to fancy plastic. Lol.

I renewed mine not to long ago and got both the paper one which the sheriff office laminated for me but also a hard plastic one as well
