Which one of the Sioux Falls, SD shows is the pre-64 show. They are preparing for another Indian Attatck. Funny how they frown on any NFA there even though many NFA firearms are pre Way Before 1964

Feb. 7th and 8th there is a gun show at the Thief River Falls National Guard Armory. I will definetly be there!

The Sioux Falls show is HUGE, all kinds of toys.
The Yankton show is relatively small, but usually has a decent selection, and most of the sellers are willing to bargain. |

I tried but guys on here have access to better prices were guys FTF here in south dakota that arent members will probably pay more because it costs more in stores. I was just curious if there were any shows and how to go about selling it at one? Do you just carry it around and flop it out at peoples stands?

Stretch, as a guy who does gun shows, I know that is the worst thing you could do! Just carry it at a gun show with a sign saying what it is and how much you are willing to sell it for. If you take it to a table they hold the power and they will rape you with it. I know, I have been on both sides and I speak from experience.

Ya thats the other problem...haha I dont know I would like to advertise it but a newspaper seems hardly appropriate and I cant just post flyers so I dont know what to do....Just need to be in the right place at the right time with the right buyer haha but its does amaze me when I took it into Garys here in sioux falls I had a small flock of people around me asking what I was selling and how much and other questions so it can happen but just need to be somewere were people are interested in these rifles

There's one Sept 22-23 at the Rushmore Hall at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The one you mentioned will probably be at the 4H building out at the Fairgrounds, and might I add, a worthless gunshow at that. |

Why aren't there gun shows at the Bismarck civic center anymore? Too expensive to get that place or what? I guess I have been gone a lot over the last couple years, but I just don't remember seeing anything.

We used to set up at Fargo, GF and Bismarck a few years back. Last I heard Bismarck Civic was getting too hard to deal with. They were giving alot of the vendors trouble with food & drinks brought in, Fargo is getting that way now too. I'm sure there are more reasons but that was one that I know of.
If we are going to sit there for 2 days, we should be allowed to bring our own food stuff in. Besides paying for high table rent, spending big bucks $$ on food, and hotel room for 2 nights, it gets spendy to set up for gun shows these days. |
