Mac McWilliams
Findlay, IL 62534

Formerly chairman of Take Back Illinois, 2nd Amendment Committee

Presently dedicated to KEEPING CHICAGO THE HELL OUT OF MY BACKYARD AND GUNSAFE

Projects:  Preparing for IL legislature committee hearings that will happen 2 months from now on firearm legislation.

I own most of the evil firearms that Chicago is trying to impose it's will upon the rest of the state by introducing legislation to ban them.  I rarely have time to shoot them, I feel you have to fight the soft war before you can practice for the Hard War.

Turnons:  People who are willing to stand up for their rights and make the sacrifice to do so.

Turnoffs:  99.995% of the IL gunowners who do nothing.

Just moved here a few months ago.

Live north of Rockford.

I've been building AK's lately, but that was after muzzle loaders.
I've been in to 3 gun the last year or two, do some high power, mostly used the M1 but have a NM AR.  Love sporting clays and steel challenge, really, anything that shoots.

Superintendent of a manufacturing facility

Married, 30's, kids.

Looking for an AR carbine.

Jon, currently in Chicago, but grew up in Naperville.

I'm an Information Security guy for a decent sized bank chain...and I'll help any of y'all out with security or general computer questions.

Currently assembling an AR-15 and buying a SIG 226...but thanks to the asshats that run Chicago and Cook County, they'll have to be stored somewhere that's not my house. =(.  Mostly range time on pistols, backwoods time with a 10/22, but I'm planning on taking a Tactical Pistol and Carbine class in the next year or two.

PLEASE HELP us stop the ANTI-GUN legislation pending in Springfield !!!
height=8
Senate Bill SB-16 "Assault Weapons Ban"
Senate Bill SB-1095 "Serial Numbering of Ammunition"
Senate Bill SB-1471A "50 Caliber Rifles"
House Bill HB-0731 "Firearm Storage"
House Bill HB-0758 "Private Sales of Handguns"
House Bill HB-0796 "Dealer Licensing"
House Bill HB-0873 "Assault Weapons Ban"
House Bill HB-1078 "1 Gun a Month"
height=8

There are also several bills we are supporting
height=8
House Bill HB-0704 "Preemption, Hunting Firearms"
House Bill HB-1304 "Concealed Carry"
House Bill HB-1757 "Preemption Transportation"
height=8

The ISRA has been in existence for 104 Years......If your not an ISRA member....WE NEED YOU NOW....more than ever.  The high capacity magazine ban passed the state Senate and was sent to the House just last week.  We have 2 Lobbyists in Springfield that we support through memberships and contributions.  The money of course helps....but we also need YOU.  We need the number to put behind the Lobbyists.  Out of 1.2 million gun owners in IL.....ONLY about 15,000, belong to the ISRA.  When one of the Lobbyists walks into a lawmaker’s office, we NEED the lawmaker to KNOW that they speak for a VERY large number of IL gun owners.  Just $25 a year, $37 for a family (kids 19 and under).  Please go to www.isra.org today.  PLEASE help us help you.  Do you want to see what we are all about?  If you are in the Joliet area, the Will County chapter meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month (this month the 16th) at "Sara's Place" (a restaurant, on IL-6, close to the Empress) at 7 pm.  Open to all, not just ISRA members.  We also have an Open House at the ISRA range in Bonfield, IL on June 9th, find details on the web site.....www.isra.org

Hi there-

I'm new to this all!  An ex boyfriend got me interested in guns, but never found the time to teach me or help me in acquiring one.  I am basically looking for any info you can give to a first timer - places to take lessons, what type of gun to start out with, etc.

I'm Bob.

I am an addict.  I have far too many guns in my safe.

I'm a fresh transplant from Ohio where guns are conssidered personal property and are treated by law as such.  It's a magical place with 1000 table gun shows almost every weekend at this time of year.

Living now in Vernon Hills.  At least it ain't Cook County.

I am still looking for a place to shoot so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.  I will drive to shoot!
