sure would !!

all most all plate racks are 6 plates , this was my first time myself
so I made it bigger and heavier than most plate racks you see and used 8 plates
my next one will be 6 plates and not as HD as this one . I think next project
is doing a Texas Star  , just so you will know AR500 steel a 1/4 plate is good for
22 / pistols , a 3/8 plate good for every thing up to 3006 with a fps of 3000 fps
@ 100yds , a 1/2 inch plate is good up to 300 Lapua Magnum at 3000 fps@100 yds
this was the info given to me on plates .

get your Son in the shop and make it happen , I shot this the other day first time
for me shoot a plate rack and it was a fun time put 75 rds of 9mm on the plates
to adjust them , it ready to go to it's new home .

If I was still in high school and they had a metal class, I'd be all over making that.

Well done and should be very useful. Looks damn heavy and rugged for many years.
