Moving to Maui in June of 2023.
Can I bring my firearms and if so what if any hoops must I jump thru?

Here you go.

You will need to take them to the Maui County Police station to register them shortly after arrival.  Pistol magazines holding more than 10 rounds are prohibited but rifle magazines (e.g., AR-15) holding more than 10 rounds are allowed.

Nah, just curious.  I live on the Big Island but end passing through Maui on my way to work on a small island south of there.

She actually started early Decmeber on telework agreement. PCS for the move will start in April and we should be on island in June.

Big change for all of us coming from Indiana.

LOL, yeah it will.

Know where you will be living yet?

Oh yeah,  They have a pretty good USPSA club there and the public range is pretty good too.

Only firearms need to be registered so leave all magazines at home. Firearms must be in a hard case or rigid container, no magazines or they will check to see if they hold more than 10 rds (pistol, for now) leave rifle mags at home too.

You will also have to be registered in the Rap Back system too.
