I know exactly one other dude that actually takes his night vision to the range around here.
Does anyone here ever shoot at night? |

Been meaning to ask you when you guys are planning on another. I'm going to eventually larp around in my side pasture with a suppressed .22lr AR. I shot my .300blk on the property the other night for the first time. My wife said she didn't hear anything, but it sounded pretty loud to me. |

Are you asking me out on a date?

It’s a good time of the year to do it.

I have nods but don't often make it out to the range for night shoots. For me, it's a process to load up the gear and drive out to my buddy's property. Yeah, lame excuse but I don't make time for it. If I had close property or I lived on property that I could shoot on it would be a different story.

I've been pretty bad about this. I've done a little with .300blk subs, but I really need to build a dedicated backstop (spring project).
I have very understanding immediate neighbors, but I don't know what some folks would think that are slightly farther away. Now, if I get to buy the land that adjoins us, then all bets are off. |

I guess we'll just have to shoot on public land next time. Not sure when yet. |

View Quote My neighbors would be extremely grumpy if chose to take up shooting at our place We hit public land down the way and that works out alright for the time being. Here in a couple years, I wouldn't mind putting my own spot together. |

My local range doesn't allow night shooting except for special events. We had one night match last year, which was my first time shooting at night with my night vision. I had a lot of ammo related gun problems, but this stage went well.

Gonna throw this TNVC Training link into this thread. For those that have NVGs or if you’re wanting to get into a set you’re in luck. We’re very fortunate to have this caliber of training so close to home. I guarantee that no matter what your level of experience is Bill and his team will make you better.
