The list of places to shoot in NH is (thankfully) fairly long. This is just a start. I'll add and format the rest in the coming days.

Also:
Hampton Rod & Gun Club in North Hampton Pemi Fish & Game Raymond Sportsmans Club Pioneers in Dunbarton And last but definitely not least, Jim's wife from Shooters Outpost told me they are totally renovating the old range across the street from the current Firing Line with the same bullet trap as the new range. Basically it will be a second range just like the current one. That should handle the overflow and waiting times at the current range. I still wish he'd come to the Seacoast area, it would be awesome to have someone over here other than KTP. Sorry I can't be more help, typing on my phone. |

For someone that just moved to Manchester NH yesterday, can someone recommend where I would want to go to shoot?
I was getting gas and I saw a range that must be indoors across from a gas station on (Brown? ave). I need to explore, im lost |

Jim and his wife own that range, another one behind it, and Shooters Outpost up the road in Hooksett. Is that the area you moved to? What do you need from a range? Long distance rifle, shotgun events, IDPA, indoors? |

My gf picked it out before I moved up here so waiting til her lease runs out then buying a house. I just have a few AR's and a saiga and a 12ga and some other things. I dont usually shoot over 200yds ever. Never shot in an indoor range before (I am from the sticks, lol) Indoor/outdoor would both be cool, I am about to pick up a hand gun and then do short-med distance rifle shooting. I am used to just shooting at a local hillbilly range and my back yard lol. Where abouts are you? Still planning on going to that IDPA event may 18th? I am going to stop by even though I wont be ready to shoot for that one. |

Exit 5 area off of Route 101. 101 is the East/West highway that will take you straight to the beach in the summer. Yeah, I'm doing the IDPA match next Saturday. From what you said you could join just about any outdoor range around your area. There's Londonderry Fish & Game right near the airport on that same road. Pelham is supposed to be one of the better NH ranges, but last I looked I think it was over $300 something for your first year. You could also just join The Firing Line. You'd pay the yearly $190 to join and then an hourly rate when you went shooting. I think it's $9 an hour instead of non-members paying $16 an hour. Shotguns can only shoot slugs though. www.gunsnh.com |

I may just go with firing line but 190 is pretty steep. Pay to play I guess. You can rent all sorts of stuff it looks like per their website. This may get expensive |

You can also just not join there and pay $16 an hour. If you don't go often that may be the better way to go financially. There's a few places where the dues are under $100 a year but you might have to drive a ways. Exeter and Pisc. are both under $100 I think but way over on the Seacoast.

I think it was Rifle Skill Builder or something, forget now. Awesome class. Lots of fun. |

Just a basic handgun class. I am about to buy my first. I wouldn't mind taking a semi basic class with one of my AR's as well. |

The Peterborough Sportsman's Club
209 Old Peterborough Road Dublin, New Hampshire 03444 [email protected] Trap, skeet, 100 yard rifle, outdoor and indoor pistol ranges. You can shoot 180 yards, but you close the 100 yard range to do so. The rifle range is closed until noon on weekends. Skeet is Saturday until noon and Trap is Sunday until noon. They recently added steel plates that can be reset from the firing position and a dueling tree to the outdoor pistol range. The indoor pistol (and 22 rifle) range is accessible 24 hours per day. You need to qualify before they give you keys to the indoor range. All outdoor shooting stations have structures with wood stoves! Half the time I have the pistol range to myself if I go there right after work on a weekday. |

I have taken several classes at Sig. Every one has been awesome.
Low light pistol. Where else will they let you shoot in 100% darkness, room lights out, using a surefire at steel targets? Reflexive pistol. Two days of close range, no sights. Trying to find time for Bullets and Bandages. Missed the last one due to work. Highly recommended. You get 20% of the next class if you sign up within 10 days of your current class. Kind of like a crack dealer... There is supposed to be a 200 yd range out past Wilton on Rt 202. |

Does anyone here have any connection with Pioneer in Dunbarton? I've tried to contact them several times via phone, email, mail, etc over the years about membership but never get any response. Do you need to be sponsored by a current member?

It is worth mentioning that Country Pond Fish & Game voted on 5/16 to allow membership via sponsorship only and to hold the sponsor liable for sponsored members for one year. Furthermore, the sponsor must have been in good standing for at least 2 years. This is a huge let-down because I wanted to get a membership there for my wife and me.

So find a member there that will sponsor you. The liability aspect pretty much guarantees that is not going to happen. Even if I showed up to fifty open-to-the-public bean suppers to glad-hand members, no member would (or should) feel comfortable enough with me to sponsor me with his/her membership on the line. Who would be unbalanced enough to sponsor someone who is not a lifelong friend? |

Any Cheshire County members here?
I've been thinking about joining. They seem to have better facilities than Peterborough R&G or Monadnock R&G. I'd love to hear others opinions or feedback. Thanks. |

I don't know what has been going on recently but if it's the same people running the show you won't be disappointed. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any more specific questions. |

I just joined Nashua Fish & Game. It was around $300 for the first year then $150 every after.
They have a 600 yard range with firing points at 500, 300, and 200. With targets in the pits. Once you qualify to use the range you would be able to shoot at those yard lines most of the time. They also have a 50, 100 yard range with covered firing points. A small 25 yard range for hand guns, and an indoor range for hand guns. During the summer months you could shoot on the range by shooting a high power match, which are normally shot at 200 and 300 |

Reviving an old thread but anyone know what’s up with Pioneer?
Membership is closed for the year according to their website. I have a sponsor lined up but for now I’ll just shoot some of their matches and wait. I’m new to NH and looking for places to shoot. I already sent in a application for Pelham and waiting to hear back. |
