RES 149-2024, Calls on the federal government to invest at least $100 million in gun violence research through the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

If someone gets arrested for a firearms crime, keep them in jail.

Before we invest in a new study was there ever a study before?  What were the results of that study?  Did the study provide recommendations, and if so were they put into place?
