If you happened to miss it last night, you have another opportunity this evening.  It may or may not be visible with the naked eye, but use your phone's camera.  For iPhones, turn off the flash and let it use night mode.

Between the solo stove and bourbon...  I am not going to bother with the iPhone, drone or DSLR :). All is well here, hoping to see the psychedelic lights though.

We tried, but doggone, we couldn't get away from light pollution, mainly cars. I took several photos without flash, and got a few wispy views of the Aurora Borealis, but nothing spectacular. I saw the Aurora Borealis years ago in central Missouri, so I knew what to expect. We went northeast of Trussville, through Argo and Springville, but every open field was packed. Next time there will some sort of astronomical phenomena, we'll probably try north Shelby County.
