Our overlords wanted to force an EV mandate by 2035. Now these same nitwits are proposing an EV Parking Ban in all garages public and private!

I have a municipal building inspector in the family that has been telling me for years this was coming. If the legislature doesn’t pull it off, insurance companies will.

LOL. So first they want to ban ICE vehicles and push people into EV's. Now they turn around and say you cannot park your EV in a parking garage. WTF do they expect people to do in the cities where there isn't enough on street parking in the first place so people are forced to use parking garages? I assume this is being proposed/implemented due to EV fires being so difficult to put out.

One of the many reasons. I just watched the Dodge Charger EV intro video. 6000 Lbs and it's not a big car. How much does the F-150 Lightning weigh? Fill up a multi level parking garage with EV's. Was the load associated anticipated when the structure was designed and built?  Lithium batteries burn hot enough to melt concrete. What happens when the EV on the 5th floor of the Air Rights garage in New Haven spontaneously combusts? It certainly doesn't look like fire apparatuses can get into those type of facilities. And when a couple of these EV's parked next to each other go up in flames do they cause irreparable damage to the structure?

Don't insult demons and rats.  The democratic party has been taken over by the communist party.  The commies/marxists/and other such human waste always said they could not take over America militarily, but they would take it over from the inside.  The enemy is in the gate, the the republicans have their thumbs up their asses.

The protocol for handing an EV fire is to keep it contained and let it burn out.

EVs weigh almost double. There have been discussions bout banning them from parking in parking garages due to the extra weight that the garages were not designed to hold.

Democrats want you to live in cities, eat bugs and plants, walk everywhere or use public transport and use Uber/Lyft when you need a car. They do not want you living in the 'burbs or rural, owning a gun, thinking for yourself and being independant.

Why do you think they are pushing their tiny house agenda, getting people to drive "connected" vehicles, pushing for renewable energy and food? It is about control. You really believe Biden cares about the planet? If you do, you are a fool. The government and big tech are tracking everything you do, look at, buy and what you say. Privacy is long gone. Your EV is phoning home constantly and is tracked. If need be it can be shut down or controlled remotely.

This type of monitoring is coming.
