There are several within a 30 minute drive - Frisco gun club, eagle gun range, Texas experience, quail creek, rifle gear, elm fork, others I'm missing. I think McKinney just opened one.

I stopped in Lake View Pawn on the north side of The Colony quite a bit when I lived in Little Elm. Good folks that periodically had some good deals. Haven’t been in there in a long time, and I no longer have Facebook, but they used to post deals frequently.

Texas Legends in Allen has a great indoor range that allows anything up to .50 BMG. Steel core and steel case are allowed. Incendiary is not. Aluminum case is not allowed in that it is tedious, hand work to separate aluminum cases from brass and steel prior to recycling.
We senior citizens can shoot M-F from 11-1 for half price, about 11.90. They are a PSA stocking retailer. |

Good to know everyone, thanks for all the info. Sounds like some good places.
Was needing to find a place to do transfers, and maybe be able to test fire and shoot locally if I can't get out to some land. Everything sounds pretty good. I believe we are picking up keys on Saturday and will start transferring stuff up. Hope to be completely in place by the end of the month. |
