I finally got motivated and put the last bit of steel back up after Ian.
I had help from a friend and his 17 year old son. I have a few more hanging targets to put together, bowling pins and golf balls. Hope to see how it works next weekend, maybe.

Weed killer on the berm tomorrow.

Looking good. What’s your reach?

Very nice.

Why kill the weeds? They'll help hold the berm's shape and keep it from slumping quickly.

Only 150 yards overall but a have about 30 pieces of steel hanging, about 24 bowling pins I string up at several different distances and golf balls which are a bitch to hit at 150

I do it mainly to keep the better half happy. The fill I used on it really holds up well to the rain. Its been 3 years since I dressed it up and the top may have settled a foot.

I'm looking to host a tack driving challenge if anyone is interested.
Pre Ian

With a golfball at 150 yards is a 1 moa shot all day long. It's not as easy as I thought it would be but maybe I just suck.
I also need to install windage tape on the posts.

If I had known I would’ve offered to help, glad to see you’re doing well!

If you ever want to shoot some MG’s, I’m still up in Lake Suzy and have the Reising, Sten and MG34 :D

Surprisingly, these will last a long time with subsonic ammo and if your not hitting the eyelet. I shot through the wire a few times.
I have about 2 dozen ready to hang at every target stand.

Cool way to rig a golfball.

Would be great as the last target in a KYL set.

Its some picture wire. Stainless steel so it doesn't rust to much. AL crimps. Galvanized eyelets.
I predrill the hole for the eyelets so if you do shoot the ball off you can screw it back on easy.
I keep a dozen or so ready to go & replace as necessary.
