What: Redwolf 2 Gun Challenge
Where: Angry Emu Range When: 04/21 & 04/28 10AM - safety meeting/stage planning, overnight camping on Saturday night for those interested There will be 5 stages which are generally created with input from everyone. At a minimum a pistol, rifle, ammo, & spare mags is generally all you need. Holsters, slings, & mag pouches are recommended though. Ranges for pistols are generally 10-25 yards & 50-200 yards for rifles. 2-3 pistol (15rd mags) & 1-2 rifle mags (30rd mags) is usually enough to get through a stage. Stages can include running, barriers, reloads, & other fun challenges we come up with as the day goes on. Feel free to ask any questions or offer suggestions. Due to conflicting schedules this month, we're going to try running 2 separate 2 guns. A good time was had today.
Mostly dry skies but there was mud. Working with a Unity FAST mount and flip up magnifier was nice. Just need to get real DOPE on that set up for 25~200. |

I just noticed the new structure from the road and went back there for a look-see. WOW, just WOW!!! That is an incredible addition to the range!!! That thing is built like a tank!!!
 Now we need to build some nice concrete picnic tables for the range. I have begun to think that today’s pressure treated wood has little more than green dye thrown at it. Wood picnic tables have a lifespan of 5 years or less. Concrete is pretty much a forever thing. Thank you, Red Wolf Challenge 2-gunners, for putting up such a classy addition to the range!!!
