[Last Edit: Ben]
All,
I have just posted some training that will go in Montana over in the training section. Deliberate Room Entry 24 February 2024 Register here! Intro to Dynamic Room Entry 25 February 2024 Register here! The Dynamic Room Entry course is much more expensive. If you're wondering why, it is because for the intro level course we are requiring folks to use our training weapons, and we are providing the ammunition. This is due to safety and insurance concerns (the alternative was that we have a separate pre-requisite course, which would have ultimately made the cost relatively higher overall). There will be subsequent late spring and summer basic and advanced dynamic entry courses, which will include mechanical breaching. You are welcome to utilize your own firearms and ammunition for those courses, and the cost will be adjusted appropriately. Please let me know if you have any interest. I'm working on setting up a place to register online, but in the meantime posting you are "in", whether in this thread or one of the training section threads, will reserve you a seat. |

Urgent care was pretty useless other than getting me an ortho appointment for yesterday (which I found out was a walk-in ortho). Should have gone there Friday. That PA did much more physical testing of it (that sucked) and said I got it pretty good and surgery was definitely needed if I wanted to continue my normal activities in life. I guess I'll know more after they fix it tomorrow. ETA: Thanks! |

I'm in for the Deliberate Room Entry class. |

I’m game for both. May have one or two friends interested. Great to have more training options within close range.

I had a partial tear one year during indoor (winter) track, and by the end of the outdoor track season I was recovered well enough to qualify for the national championships. It really sucks, but take the physical therapy seriously. Use the pool at least a couple times a week, even if you have to go out of your way to do so. Vigorously water running will keep your legs relatively healthy. |

I come out of the splint on the 4th and get put into a boot with heel lift wedges that slowly get taken out. That will take up to 6 weeks, but it sounds like I should be able to walk around after that, but nothing explosive like running, jumping, etc. |

Registration links added to the OP. Get registered quick folks.
Also- as an aside, those of you who attend these first couple events will have a heavy influence which direction Rearden Armament courses take over the next year...focused on home defense? Active shooter? A series on Irregular Warfare? We will also discuss something I'm contemplating re: a sort of subscription model for attending courses. Where you get (x)% off the next so many courses you take or something for a small fee. |

Would it be ok/possible to use the training carbine, then switch to my 1301T for the live fire?
Or is that a dumb idea? |

I’m still planning on it. Just trying to give the bank account a minute to recover because it was hemorrhaging badly during the holidays.
What kind of facilities are on site for those that are looking to spend the night? Thanks! |

Great low key training. For someone that has no experience in deliberate or dynamic room entry I learned a ton. Unfortunately the wind destroyed the live fire set up but we had a lot of force on force scenarios with airsoft pistols and M4s with blanks. Small class so we got a lot of cycles through a lot of different situations.
Great to meet Ben and the other arfcom members. Thanks again, Ben! |

I’m going to pick up a couple of those training G19’s. I felt the force on force training was very useful. |
