The original story I remember is that a guy was at a gravel pit.  Another guy (victim) was driving making doughnuts and crashed into guy's truck and drove off (hit & run).  (some gun play?) Guy chases after "victim" for several miles and "victim" crashes.  Guy was on phone with 911 and claims "victim" pointed a gun at him and he shoots "victim".  Unloaded gun found in "victim's" auto.

Judge gave the guy 25 years for the shooting.  Seems no good guys were involved.

Sounds like a tale of 2 assholes colliding and the resultant debris.
