Witness slips: 144 opposed, 2 proponents. I drive a cheap-ass Honda Civic and have no interest in any trucking companies, but I sure as hell hope this bill gets destroyed. We need reliable trucks to keep the goods flowing.
One of the proponents is from the American Lung Association. The other is from a towing company. I'll assume that was a mistake, because someone else from the same company posted an opposition slip. |

a friend from one of the local towing companies is the one that alerted me to this. I don't want them going after my '05 tow rig, let alone anything else.

With all the problems facing Illinois, the looming public empolyee's pension shortfall, the migrant crisis, the street crime wave in Chicago and East St. Louis, this is what the Illinois State Legislature wastes it's time on.
The State House in Springfield should be called what it is, an insane asylum. Gary |
