Thank goodness someone's trying to do something. Funny part is, the liberals in Nashville are already complaining about it lol. So on one hand, liberals say "no one is above the law, not even the president"… But when it comes to doing something totally illegal like blocking roads and highways, they want that to be legal to break the law! Total clown world....

Don't make it a crime. Just make running them over immune to prosecution and civil damages.
Make them and the organizers liable for vehicle damages as well. |

View Quote Yep. If the mayor or council tells Nashville police to not arrest anyone, then there is no point in it being illegal to block the roads. If an individual is given immunity for running over someone that is blocking a road as a form of "protest", then the police can still stand around and do nothing. |

I am for it but,....A law is only good if they enforce it.

View Quote worthless law. feds will never enforce it. make it a state law and let the state troopers or TBI enforce it. then it would be real. Not to mention it will never be passed so who gives a fuck? If our senator wants to be useful, he could filibuster the senate until the border is closed and ensure nothing gets done. THAT would be useful. but he won't do it. None of them will. |

Quick story about this… I know a lady in Nashville that was a victim of this road blocking bullshit during the 2020 riots. They blocked the highway somewhere near downtown. It was at night. She was coming home from work. When they blocked this highway, long story short, she was stuck on the highway for over two hours. Couldn't go anywhere. Basically held hostage in her car. She almost went to the bathroom on herself. All her medication was at home and she was already late taking it. She had to pick up her kid and was super late because of that. Now someone tell me why on earth they called this a peaceful protest? They are basically taking people hostage and their cars. And that's not hyperbole.

They know no one believes all the BLM bullshit so they will terrorize you so the politicians can gain the additional power they crave. All those BLM organizations are funded by the taxpayers in the guise of "community investments" You are being terrorized. And you are being extorted to pay to be terrorized. Makes you think. |

An amended version of a road blocking bill was passed by the state legislature and sent to the governor, this week. Instead of making it a felony, as the bill was originally written, the amended version states that the road blockers have full civil liability for injuries or financial losses that the road blockage caused.
Late for work? The road blockers are responsible for your lost wages. Lost a contract because of the delay? The road blockers are responsible for the income your company lost from that. Pain and suffering due to your ambulance getting caught in the mess? That's going to be expensive for the road blockers. Every single person and company that can show a monetary loss or injury due to the road blockage, can file a lawsuit against the group that illegally blocked the road. That would seem to at least imply that if the group is with BLM or some other leftist group, the organization is also liable, not just the individual protestors. https://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=HB2031&GA=113 |

Put this in your bag a tricks. If you somehow daydreamed your way into a Marxist road block. Do not, repeat, do not come to a complete stop.
The mob's scripted play is to stop your progress by placing something in your path. A bicycle is the prototype. A stinky pink-haired girl on a bike pulls right out in front of you. If you stop to "save her life" because subconsciously she reminds you of your granddaughter, she will just stand there beating on your hood with her tattooed arm calling you names. As practiced, here comes the two Antifa warriors with blades. One on each side. They puncture your side walls. Now you are sitting in the middle of a worked up mob of leftists who will shatter your windows with pre-positioned bricks. They may pull you out of your car and rob and beat you. They train this tactic. What is the counter tactic? Keep rolling slowly in a straight line with your horn blaring. Do not accelerate because the pink-haired petri dish on the bike is a smooth brain and thinks you can/will stop if she peddles out in front. If you run over her at 40 mph the Soros DA is going to charge you with murder. Do not stop. Do not stop. Do not stop. |

Their solution to that was the escort vehicles, which would ram you if they thought that was necessary to stop you. The more looney of them took the claims of attempted murder (shrieking fat blobs would throw themselves on the hoods of cars that were inching forward, then demand that police arrest the driver for attempted murder) and decided that they were justified in shooting any driver that didn't comply (though in Texas, they discovered that the driver might shoot back). Immunity for drivers that hit the gas, instead of hitting the brakes, would likely go a long way toward stopping this, but tactics evolve on both sides, and anybody unlucky enough to get caught up in this mess is likely going to have a choice of bad options and worse options. |
