SE Salem.  Just a dusting, but sleet and freezing rain to add to the winter wonderland.

Got a dusting of snow last night, but it looks like it's going to be freezing rain for the rest of the storm. Again. I haven't seen snow for a long time, it's freezing rain every time.

Parents had 2 trees drop onto their house today. Luckily they left and went to neighbors after the first one hit. Looks like they are in for a remodel. 50mph gusts.

Layer of ice, then snow, and now another layer of ice on top of that.  Was out for awhile yesterday afternoon and south Lancaster had not been plowed that I could tell.  There was some traffic but everyone moving slow.  Freaking traction control crap on the car wouldn't let me go more than 10-15 mph.  Taking the 7,000 lb, 96' F250 out later to see what the roads are like instead of driving the car.

Went to Woodburn from Salem this morning on call. It sucked. Ice covered roads no plowing or anything put down.

I should say its about the same as Anchorage only ANC has it like this for five months.

We have  ice no snow. Lots of busted trees no power since last night. Running on a small yamaha generator Luckily it runs the gas heater and the refrigerator and freezer. Powers a few wall outlets so I can charge 3 goal zero batteries I used over night. I don't remember the power going out for days like this in the 70s 80s and 90s.

Not a dammed thing. I feel neglected.

Got lots of rain and nothing interesting. Rain sucks.

No snow.   But soo much damned ice.

We are looking at 14 days with no power.

I really need to figure out a generator system.   As well as backup heat.   My home propane is at 28%.    I should be able to milk it through the outage.

Plenty of snow in Sunriver about 4 ft this past weekend had to break out the snowblower.  Thinking I need a plow
