Rich,
Can you tell me if order ID 1897 took. I haven't seen a charge to my card yet. Thanks, Duane |
What're you guys trying to do, make a billion dollars this year???
DAMN YOU! |
I'm in with order #1947 doing the Coyote Brown
I wonder how many grips have been pre-ordered so far? |
So when is your company going public? I want in.
Someone forgot the charging handle on the first pic, and the bolt release. The real pictures show the product much better then the CAD renderings. It looks great on that American Spirit Arms lower receiver too. -Steve |

Any chance of an insert that would hold three dl123 batteries for the 9v light systems?
Thanks, Jason |

The pre-buy special is over. You will have to wait until the grip is released for regular sales. Sorry. |
do u know when they will be released i m very interested in a pair and at what price thx
No one knows for sure just yet. They are still giving the prototypes a thorough going over. With any luck, they will be available by Christmas. Hopefully. Those of us that are in on the pre-buy are eagerly and impatiently waiting on them. I, however, do not want to rush perfection and would rather Rich work on it until it is right. Until then, you will have to wait just like the rest of us. |
BTT for all of us drooling over these grips many are yelling for pics on a couple of other threads, so here is a bump for some great pics. Also Rich, what brand of rifle and what finish is on the rifle in the first pic? I know lighting and camera make the pic but man that grip on that finish is very nice

Thats an ASA (American Spirit Arms). It is probably an earlier model that was actually made by RRA. |

Anyone order an xtra miad grip they can spare me?

THANK YOU FOR SENT ME ONE OF YOUR PROTYPE GRIPS I LOVE IT I EVEN BEAT IT WITH A HAMMER . I WAS MISSING THE FULL GRIP SET IN MY PACK YOU SENT ME JUST A BASIC GRIP IS THAT ALL YOU HAD? AND DID NOT GET MY AA BAT CORE I ORDERED THANKS BRIAN RICHEY THE NEW GRIP FEEL TO ME LIKE THE H&K G 36

I have an OD pre'release grip. The color on the main body of the grip is way of from all of the rest of the parts and it's marbailzed. I love the feel of the grip. I would recomend removing the finger groove from the front strap that has the built in trigger gard. I'm not a big fan of the finger groove. They never seem to be in the right place for my hand. I love the modularity of the grip and the ability to swap cores. I'm sure the finish will be much better on the production models.
One more thing. It's not real easy to depress that little tab to release the core. I understand that it needs to be recessed to avoid accidental release of the core but in and emergancy it could be a real issue the way it is currently configured. |
Do we have an indication when the release version of the MIAD will be out?
Will pricing be in line with the pre-release versions? Thanks. |
I'd like to know this as well |

Chapper is where I got the idea for the forward MIAD :) Thanks Chapper!
Magpul should sell A.R.M.S. #23's on their website... I had to dremel the upper part of the foreward grip instert to get it to fit with the #23.. It looks normal, but i made it to thin where my index finger lays. |
I'm floored someone else has this setup.... I had a little issue fitting the pieces too, but with a little elbow grease I was able to spare the dremel. During one session, I did crack the rear fastener off the flat back piece though! I don't want to put on a full thumb backstrap piece like yours though - Even with gloves, I don't want to get my hand or sling caught in that void. I'm just gonna order antoher flat back piece and tape it on good. It really is a nice system with two caveats, both ARMS negatives of coruse. a) you can't just put it on and fasten like Larue, you gotta lever it on right to left as usual for ARMs and b) that damn lever is too damn big. If you want to use your weak hand to activate a light or something like that, the lever is completely in the way. Even if I shaved it down a little the platform that supports the mechanism is huge. it IS a great and comfrotable and true QD grip, but it's only a temptorary solution till TD and larue put something out together... I doubt larue will do a mount like this. no interest ans they already have the TD system worked out. It's gonna sell millions. |
