Wow.
I bought the 14.5" Gunner "match" barrel from Aim Surplus and it has been pretty disappointing.
It would be fine for every day plinking, but it is a stretch to call it "match". If the match you enter is 2 Moa to win, maybe. After a meticulous break-in and shooting off solid sand-bag rests with a 16x scope, I have tried more than 10 different factory loads from Gold metal match to M193 and a few handholds and the best 5 shot groups I get are 1.5 MOA. Most are 2-3 MOA. This may be Mil-spec, but you will be disappointed if you expect "match" performance.
Given ammo prices, I am solidly upside down on ammo vs barrel cost in testing this thing.
I tried to enter a review on their site (I mean, pardon me, isn't that how we evaluate things in this community?). It took me 4 tries to get the review though and I got a "only confirmed buyers may review a product" message.
OK, so posting it here where few will see and less will care.
This industry kind of suck some time.
