Nice SBR. What can are you running?

I was able to track down a MEGA MG-XTR lower at Rainier Arms and also bought a stock wrench (has came in pretty handy on a few different, both mine and friends', rifles since), oversized YHM takedown pins, 20 round mag for bench rest shooting, buffer and spring, ergo grip, and a Stag ambi. safety selector.
I original bought a Rock River parts kit at a gun show but the takedown pins and the safety selector was gnarled up with poor machining. I used to like their complete guns but this has damaged my trust in the company (hopefully it was just my bad luck) Everything that I ordered from Rainier has been primo! I am really glad that I came across Rainier, great costumer service who even offered to put my lower together for me. I was impressed that what appeared to be a retail store would actually build you a rifle from the various parts you were ordering! The fella whom i spoke with answered all of my technical questoins on the phone very quickly; you fellers know your stuff! I was impressed and plan on making some more purchases from Rainier in the future. ... thinking about one of those Bobro optic mounts Anyway, Mega makes some nice stuff and Rainier sells them at a great price Very confident with Rainier Arms! ** My upper is a JP VTAC w/ their radiator cooling gizmo..., their adj. gas block, and a YHM Phantom Flash hider that i ordered from JP (i like my Mega Lower best though..., it is OUTSTANDING!) the rifle also has a UBR stock, AR Gold trigger (amazing), and a big paddle bolt release from DPMS (that I don't care for all that much) Uploaded with ImageShack.us" /> Uploaded with ImageShack.us" /> |

Got really bored the other night while waiting for the Mega Monolithic uppers to get back in stock, I probably will clean off the neon green when there's a working rifle, but at least I got the color fill bug out of my system.

Actually, I really like the neon green fill. Thinking about doing that to 1 of my 2 MEGA's.... I say leave it!

There is way too much speculation going on lately. Shoot your rifle first. THEN, if there are problems call the manufacturer.

Good looking sticks! Thanks... I was unsure about the new handguards but after having them for about a month now I'm sold. Would take them over the Troy/Vtac anyday although I definitely recommend using some gloves or a VFG when combining them with the lightweight barrel.. |
