Sir, I checked our service email and we had responded to you regarding the bolt catch. We have no problem exchanging but our customer service team had to ask some basic questions so we know the source of the issue before we can address it. The last email, presuming you're Nicolas, we asked you to double check the thickness of the bolt catch if you're able to. You never responded to our email. If the measurement comes in on the thick side of the casting tolerance and you are still experiencing play in your lower receiver, any replacements sent to you would be either the same or worse. If your bolt catch thickness measures on the thin side then we may be able to find one thicker that may help tighten up the fit.
With investment castings, the mold dimensions are set, aside for the manufacturing tolerances of .010"-.015" there is no adjusting it. We design them to have "Mil-Spec" dimension thickness. If we couldn't help you with a replacement part we would have refunded your money. If you don't communicate with us there isn't much we can do to help you.
Blindly replacing the part isn't going to do you any justice unless we know it is going to help solve your problem. Our goal is to solve your problem. We don't care about a $10 part. It costs us more money in labor diagnosing the problem than the cost of the part so it is not about us trying to "save-a-buck" or trying to "pass-the-buck". I think you got the wrong impression/intent of our customer service questions to you.
