I got one of those cola 9.3" mk4's as well from flyover 6. Trying to figure out how to build it out now. Its only found an upper to hang out with as of now. And it feels shamefull to only have one AR as of right now
If anyone has a lead on a deal for a 10.3" Geissele barrel let me know. I would like to keep to as many geissele parts as possible for being such a great sponsor, but a little tough to afford at times Hopefully I can have this one ready by flyover 7 or heartland. |

View Quote Y’all are awesome. I need to get a new bolt for it to try. The ejector feels strong but it seems like the bolt is “snug” on the base of the brass. If that makes sense. The internal circumference may be slightly undersized. I need to find what the specs are for the bolt and then take some measurements. I did get some brass shavings at the head of the brass too specifically around the ejector on the bolt. Something you would almost expect from an over pressure round. This ammo is all factory rem 115gr ball. Seems like every round had that to it. It was also partially ejecting. I had many pieces of brass that the mouth of the brass was firmly smashed forward into the forward part of the ejection port. Again leading me to the bolt. I did shoot the lower with my 11.5 upper that has the Geissele barrel and it ran fantastic. Only put a few mags through it because I was excited to use the 6.8 upper. |

Might have gotten a whole 2 rounds to cycle in a 28 rd mag. Tried adjusting the gas block and no major differences. Did snap a photo. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/77421/IMG_3957-3193870.jpg View Quote Is that 7.62x39? Or is Covid making me delusional? |

Finally got to the range.
4 mags of 6.8. 3 failures. The first theee rounds as I adjusted the gas system. From there it ran AMAZING. A big thank you to @GACS to helping get this figured out and make it possible. I still have to get my 1-6 G scope put on. Just waiting for 1.93 mounts to come in stock. This thing is more Geissele parts than parts that aren’t. I love it. Shoots like a dream now. Albeit… it’s loud as heck… till I threaded on the AAC 7.62SD. Now it’s manageable and easy. Wouldn’t call it hearing safe though. Regardless. It is now the new “Home Defense Rifle”. Also added a G charging handle at the same time. This rifle is the best of the best I could get. |

Etc. it needs a light and some IR goodies for night time usage. Been debating on replacing the stock now too. Possibly getting rid of the side folder. Seems useless if it can’t fire folded. Either way. I like how it shoots now and I need to stockpile ammo for it. Have maybe 1500 rounds as of now. |
