Posting this here with the hope to get some assistance.
I've called Griffin customer service a few times and I keep getting different answers from them as compared to what I see on the webpages for the adapters. I had to wait over a year for my Optimus and the last thing I want to do is break it.
I have two tilt barrel pistols and one ar9 9mm PCC. I'm pretty sure I have what i need for the tilt barrels. I have two 1/2x28 cam-lok barrel adapters to fit the two pistols and one cam-lok 1/2x36 for the PCC.
I have on order (shipped today) an adaptor for another pistol (unrelated as that'll be taper mount) and a fixed barrel spacer. It was my original plan to have the pistol and the PCC to have the cam-lok mount usable on both firearms and just replace the piston booster spring with the fixed barrel spacer when using on the fixed barrel PCC as defined in the manual below (and as told to me an hour and a half ago by Griffin Customer Service)

Except now i stumble onto a warning on Silencershop's web page for the camlok adapters that states "Use of the CAM-LOK™ system with a fixed spacer on a fixed barrel firearm will cause damage to the suppressor. This is for use on handguns with tilt barrel pistols only such as Glock, HK, SIG, 1911, S&W M&P....etc." and now I don't know what to believe. The Griffin webpage (nor customer service) said this and even the owners manual disagrees.

Griffin...(@Green0) what do I need to use a cam-lok on a fixed barrel PCC in 1/2x36? I'd rather not have taper mount on the PCC and cam-lok on the tilt-barrel pistol but I will if I have to. Help?
ETA: theres an O ring on my tilt-barrel pistol threaded barrel behind the thread protector. Do i need to remove that O-ring when installing the cam-lok barrel adapter?
