[Last Edit: ORjeepguy]
Finally got out and did a short hike this weekend with the Mini Pack. It was a pretty easy 5 mile, 700 foot elevation loop around a lake near Mount Hood.
Didn't really need a pack for this hike, but wanted to try out my Mini Pack. Stuffed my first aid kit, wife's water bottle and a jacket in it with plenty of space to spare. I thought I would need a sternum strap for the straps, but it is not necessary. Put the pack on and synch the straps down. It road perfectly on my upper back. Very comfortable for the whole hike. This is going to be my "go to" day trip bag now. Note, this was a pre-production unit. Slightly different than the current design. Attached File My standard hiking load out. Water bottle in a mini skittles pouch. G20 10mm with one reload. Attached File |

The wife and I take the dogs on a 5 mile loop a few times a week on a Greenway behind our house.
My mini pack is great for it, phone, keys, reload, dog bowl and trauma kit go inside. I carry two spare water in the optional water bottle pouches. |

I need to get the double ar mag pouch and gp pouch to finish mine out… I’ll quit stalling one day.

Hopefully it won't be long. Your wife doing "stay at home mom" duty? |

That's awesome! Doing local deliveries? Does she do it through a website or social media?

View Quote She’s selling to a lot of the local florist and wholesalers and also has a farm stand that we set up once a week in front of the house selling bouquets to the community. She also hits up some farmers markets on the weekends if we have time. She does have a website and social media because you can’t do a business without it nowadays. It is pretty awesome, but the start up costs really cut into the fun money… hopefully next year she’ll start making some decent money. If not, she’s still home with the kids and ramen ain’t that expensive |

I know, right?
Maybe a tactical wheelbarrow... |

Is there a way to attach the mini backpack to the back of the larger backpack? You know… for research reasons.

Thinking about getting one but due to the price trying to find out a little more information. The pics on the website leave a little to be desired since they appear to be slightly different variations. The pictures here help but still wondering about the inside. Any sort of velcro or straps inside to mount something to?
Looking for a small bag I can sling over my shoulder and hold a small amount of gear. |

It sounds like everyone here is pleased with the bag though I wanted to use the front panel to hold my pouches I mount to my belt with descreet carry clips so I can basically add or subtract from the bag to my belt as needed. All your pictures got my brain juices flowing. |

If i remember correctly, there are no attachment points on the inside, but its not really big enough to be attaching much. More of a place to stuff some gear. |

Webbing on shoulder straps.
Attached File I think this one is tapered. Attached File Drain holes in bottom, 2 holes up top could be an attachment point if you’re brave enough. Attached File Inside Attached File Which is about this big. Attached File Now back to my coffee. |

Thanks for the pictures, that really helps. I see what looks like small variations. Some don't have a top handle, some don't have those molle flaps on the sides, etc. I don't see any custom order options, are those just older versions or are can we get it made with certain features? I was thinking velcro on the inside might be nice to mount a pistol holster or something like that.

I was looking at this pack and was thinking about getting another one to make into a search & rescue pack |
