Ouch - that really bites!
Can believe that they chambered the wrong caliber. Glad they are not surgeons. Hope they make it right! Definitely will not be recommending CLE in the future. Sorry D3 - Hope you have something good to drink for therapy! |

CLE has asked me to return the barrels. They said they will refund the cost of the barrels, the machining and the shipping.

That's good to hear. What's the game plan for new barrels?

What a shit show.
Sounds like they did everyone a service by getting out of the custom work. Best of luck D3 - on to Plan B, which I’m sure will work out for the best. |

Factory Hornady 130 eldm, had a few different boxes that have been like this. Brass comes out clean and nice, primers too.
Oh and I can even resize the brass, and it shot half inch groups... |

I have a blank I bought from Bruno's so if I ever fond someone who will turn one for me, I'll try again. |

I think it's a good compromise between (for example) the Winmag and the Norma. I can get better performance than the Winmag, but not the speeds of the Norma. Not sure speed is the best measure for me as being on the east coast with the density altitude the way it is, and only the occasional chance to stretch out past 1,000yds. I might also get a few more rounds of barrel life out of the PRC. Regardless, you have to go with what you want or you'll always be wondering or spending money twice to get to where you want to be. |

Thanks...
I have heard of Clinton House (SC) About 3.5 hours from home (Myrtle Beach). Not heard of Colemans Creek but it is actually closer and it looks good. About 2.5 hours from home Both are definitely on the list. BTW - You have to join as a member to get access to the 1000 and mile ranges. I will check out Arena Training's website. |
