Will SACS be doing any custom work on the fabulous new SA-35? It could be a masterpiece!

|
If they do it will be very limited what they offer, as they do now with their 1911s
|
|
|
Probably, but it wont be until late next year.

When is the 35 available ?
|
|
|
They are now, shipping to dealers and distributors monthly. The demand was much higher than anticipated.

When are these going to be available at something less than double MSRP?

What are you doing to roll back the gun control in Illinois that passed after you were against it, then for it, then against it?

I have been told due to some QC issues, we halted production for a few months and then we moved into a new facility that this delayed production as well. In a meeting last Wednesday we were told production was to continue this month.

I thought maybe my sa-35 was an oddball when it was functioning flawlessly up to about 1100 rounds and then started not functioning. I'm in the process of trying to change out the extractor to see if that works |

Hansan: "This is a .30 caliber, gas operated, clip fed, semi-automatic rifle....."
Soldier: "Look, you ain't sellin it to me, you're only showing me how it works." |
A high cut and 25LPI checkered front strap, checkered back strap, charcoal bluing with high polished flats an matte rounds, and some (real) ivory grips. Maybe polish royal-blued pins and some small parts.
That’s some hi-power drip, right there… |

I've seen a few reports that the frame and slide are made by Tisas in Turkey. Any truth to that?

Short reset trigger would be nice.

I know we are not doing any custom work on them, but my friends at Apex Tactical showed some cool stuff at SHOT show. Different hammer, flat trigger, mag well. All done really nice. Check them out.

Specifically Lawman's who is a Springfield dealer but for some reason can't get the SA-35. |

I picked up my new SA-35 yesterday that I ordered from Family Firearms.
I got a back in stock notification last week and ordered right away. They went OOS pretty quickly. |

Seems well made - fit and finish is very good. Not as many pointy corners as my Range Officer. Order for 5 extra mags just came in from Lanbo’s yesterday. Hopefully get to the range tomorrow. |

I ordered 5 mags from Lanbo’s also. They made it to my house in like a day. Crazy.
I am curious to see if the custom shop ever gets involved. |

I don't know how this works, but I nominate Joker and Fluffy for arfcom sainthood.

View Quote I was able to find one finally as well, definitely didn’t make the same mistake as the first one I saw back in 2021 and scooped it up. As an FYI the MSRP is now listed as $799, so if you paid the original MSRP of $699 you got a pretty good deal. I took mine to the range yesterday and ran 150 rounds through it. The only problem I had was related to the soft/mushy safety would partially engage under recoil if my thumb was riding high on the grip. Had a couple of times where the trigger would lock up as a result. |

Made a huge improvement in the engagement/disengagement of the safety. It’s not quite 1911 crisp but it’s vastly improved over the stock setup. I’m around at around 600 rounds right now and have had zero issues with my SA-35. |
