Yeah, that's one make that will often require modification to run suppressed, even with a booster. The .40, .45 & 10mm critters are less fickle than 9mm, but still sometimes need tweaking.
In general, a lot of the striker fired 9mm guns will need "full power" subsonics to run right, like Federal or Speer 147 gr. The more mild 150 gr. Federal Syntech or 158 gr. Fiocchi subs sometimes just don't have enough oomph. In all of our hammer fired hosts, though, the Fiocchis ran fine. Bunch of 1st, 2nd & 3rd gen smiths, 1911s, CZ-75 & clones (Witness, Baby Eagle), and of course the Beretta 92s don't have a problem.
Chris Hansohn had failures to cycle with Federal Syntech 150 gr in a CZ P-07, but said it was fine with other types of 124 gr ammo he had on hand that day. The Syntech 150 is pretty light stuff at an advertised 870 FPS, while most 147 gr. stuff is close to 1,000.
Most .45 hosts have not had problems, though we did have one customer report cycling issues with a (pretty new) FNX-45 tactical with a micro RDS. We were able to borrow a higher mileage FNX-45 with a Burris Fastfire on it to test, and that one ran fine, though it did fail to lock open on empty running Federal 230 gr. ball. On researching the matter, it seems the FNX is rather known for needing a bit of a break in to run right with optics and/or suppressors added.

Very, very little. The variation in port noise from host to host is more noticeable. The Obsidian and MOD9 may eclipse TLX9 slightly in full configuration, handily beats the Omega 9K, MOD9SK or short config obsidian 9 (keep in mind this is really more of a K can, especially as .45 suppressors go). Haven't played with a YHM R9. Full disclosure, this is based on how they actually sounded to us and some other dealers who have come to try them, not meter results. We do meter, but I rely less and less on peak dB as I do this longer, it just doesn't really indicate whether or not they will sound pleasant to real human ears, and the market is generally pretty skeptical of published dB ratings these days anyway.
.45 is, of course, louder. The videos make them sound very similar, noise leveling mics and all. In the real world, it's a good bit boomier, but is still just this side of comfortable for my naked ears, which is about all the better I've ever experienced with suppressed .45 ACP pistols. It's just not easy to make .45s legitimately quiet without something unwieldy for a handgun.
