Thanks, homey!
(...and thanks for monitoring the forum.)
Everyone wants virgin slide, and the only option out there in 1911s is the Guncrafter Industries No Name or making your own.
For the MEUSOC style, here is what I did with your existing GI offering: https://imgur.com/nIoraXz
The narrow tennon, stake-on front sight eventually shoots loose though- just like it did on the originals. You can spec a reconfiguration of existing Tisas catalog parts (as above), save money on the slide rollmarking operation, and this one will be a MUST OWN. I volunteer to test it too. ;)
The Hi Power game is hot now too, and you can get in there easily with the BR9. Here is another (much tougher) idea to take on:
FACT 1- People are paying almost 10x original value for an Argentine M95 FM Detective model Compact Hi Power on the secondary market.
FACT 2- People buy up all BR9s, every time they hit, immediately. Some people invest further in costly modifications to these BR9s to make them into Compacts. These conversions are actually more aesthetically pleasing up front since the iconic profile of the HP slide is retained. These are also more desirable since, like the late model M95 they are dovetailed to accept Mk III Hi Power sights. Major minus for both- just like when FM updated the Detective, the BR9 is billboarded like crazy. Go virgin slide here too.

You should ask Tisas to consider developing a Compact Hi Power. This will also be a MUST OWN for a lot of people, if the price can be kept reasonable. I know this is tough because they already sell out every standard model they make, so why invest in something new...
