Previously there was no shipping charge for a gun going from the warehouse across the river to the Fernadina store now I get charged $18 for a five minute drive? It makes no sense that PSA doesn't have their own truck driving the delivery routes- looking at the locations on a map it would be easy to hit all of the stores in a week. The company I used to work for in the '90s did sample collection/pickups on a weekly schedule so I'm sure with modern computers it should be even easier. Similarly a POS system that did automatic ordering should help inventory issues- there is no reason for the store a few miles from the manufacturing plant(s) to consistently be out of simple common parts, i.e. buffers or pins.
I like PSA and PSA products and will continue to order them, but I can't wrap my head around how some of these issues still haven't been addressed in today's market. The continuing QC issues are another subject that needs addressing, there's no reason that with PSA's modern equipment they can't turn out guns every bit the equal of any of the so-called high end brands, but that's enough for today.
