Yes, they do have a lockout tailcap. |

Do these lights have the 1" bodies?

Can they take weapons mounted use??
Yes. |

Initial reports are yes, they've been holding up with weapons use. Now the X2 & X3 don't have a true shock isolated bezel system but do have a very robust lamp design and more importantly they have battery retention to keep the batteries from recoiling against the lamp. I have plans of putting more rounds on the X2/X3 setups but time is always limited. |

Hmm Thanks for the info, I guess I'll have to get one eventualy and check it out on my AR and see how it does. Weapon mounting it won't void the warrenty will it?? |

I've decided to go without a signature for a little while....
No, it shouldn't, but keep in mind normal failure of batteries & lamps are NOT covered with the warranty. |

Any idea of when you will have the tape switches available? Do you offer any mounts as well?
I'm not exactly sure when the t.switches will be in, I'll try to get an update ASAP. As for mounts, I carry several std. ring mounts, the Abrams/VLTOR mount (due to a production error I'm waiting on a new revision to come in), the LDI ring mount, the Viking Tactics & Daniel Defense offset mount, TDI Arms polymer q.d. mount. |

Brightflashlights, The lamps are covered by a warranty? How long is the warranty? Thanks, Smitty |
Oops, huge typo on that, batteries & lamps won't be covered but if you have an early failure right from the start you should certainly check with them and I think they'll resolve any problems appropriately. The warranty is a limited lifetime warranty which generally means you should honestly explain what happens (so they can correct any potential problems) and if it broke under routine usage I feel confident they'll take care of it. Now for cases where you were using it to hammer nails or seeing how well it handles a four story drop then I think you're on your own (& rightfully so.) |

BrightFlashlights,
Thanks for clearing that up, I figured it was just a typo but wanted to make sure. On another note, I received my YHM 2 pc. handguards that I ordered from you. These things are the berries! I had no problems getting them on my Colt and they are very solid. Smitty |

Any way great service on the Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard, as you can see on the picture tread it's mounted. |

Ordered three X3-HA and two viking tactics offset light mounts on 5/2 for me and my brothers M4's. I just received them today as promised. Quality is excellent. Im planning on putting at least a hundred of rounds through my rifle. We'll see if the X3 holds up. Thanks Calvin!! Ed

Put over a hundred rounds of 55 gr fmj black hills and remington UMC through my RRA M4. Did not affect the X3-HA's at all. Overall, i am happy with the purchase.
So far everyone that's been mounting them seems to be having good results.

How would you compare the Pentagons to the Laser Devices lights?
In 6v they are very much comparable but the LDI can be slightly tighter and have a bit more throw. In 9v the LDI wins out in throw as the X3 has more flood. The LDI's win out in being smaller and being true weaponsgrade lights but the Pentagons are well worth the money too. |

Mine that I posted a pic of on page 1 of this thread lasted through another few hours during the night portion of another patrol carbine class, this time it was in a shoot house. |

Calvin,
How much do the Pentagon IR light (S2 4-Watt IR Illuminator) cost? I bought a SF from you in the past, but have a new PVS14, and want a little more distance. Do you carry them, and have you tried them out? There was a posting today with photos, they look good, but only use the "competitor", which might not be a Surefire. Looks interesting. |
I'm hoping to get the S2 in tomorrow and I'll be passing one off to a buddy who has NV so that he can give it a try. I'll let you know ASAP on how well it does.

So does that mean I can expect a package soon? I've got a fabulous PVS14 to est it out with.

The clicker tailcaps are in now as well as the coil cord & constant on/off 'tapeswitch' units.

Are you going to be offering any kind of package deals on the Pentagon X2/X3 lights and weapon mounts like you did with the Surefire G2/6P? I'm looking for a reasonably priced light and an easily removable mount...and probably a clicker tail cap as well.
Sure, just let me know what mount you prefer and we'll work you up a good quote.
Thanks. |

Any word on the IR illuminator? Got any in stock? Shoot me an email with the price please. |

How about the MD2 Xenon DuoLight, are these in stock yet and if so how much? Thanks!
How does the X3 beam compare to the P61?
Which has more throw? |
They're somewhat comparable as far as flood & whiteness is concerned but the X3 does have better range and of course a longer runtime. |
