I made a post here a couple years ago asking about Estancia El Carrizal but I got no responses. I decided to book there anyway and the trip took place a couple of weeks ago. I went with my best friend and brother in law. Flights were Raleigh-> Miami -> Buenos Ares Int. -> Buenos Ares Regional -> Bahia Blanca. From Bahia Blanca we were picked up by a transport arranged by the ranch and had a 2 hour drive west to the lodge.

**We did have a major flight delay in Miami which caused us to have to spend an unplanned night in Buenos Ares and the ranch was great about helping us adjust travel**

The lodge was amazing:

We decided to rent rifles from the lodge because this was our first international hunting trip and you basically got the rifle of whichever PH you were with. I got a BRNO chambered in 300wm (other guys got Tikkas and Winchester 70s)

HiLuxs were the ranch truck of choice, awesome little trucks.

I got my Stag on Day 2: then we were able to get back on the bachelor group that mine was with and my brother in law got his so it was neat to get to share the experience with him.
My Stag & I

Brother in law on the left with his stag and both of our PHs

My best friend got the biggest stag of the group but he was still more excited about the fallow deer he got.

Final day with the skulls, I was amazed how fast they cleaned them up. This was about 4pm on the final day and the boar was killed the night before, the fallow that day just before noon.

Holding for more photos:

The collection from the lodge that week, (the stag, 4 horn sheep and black buck were from another group at the lodge)

The full crew, Hunters, PH, skinners, chef.

We got to eat some meat from each animal except the 4 horn sheep, the chef was absolutely phenomenal and as you would expect we drank a lot of Malbec

Nice looking trip? Did they cook the meat for you while you were there?

Hunt, lodging, food and drink was $4900
Int. Flights (premium economy) $2200
Domestic Flights and Transports $350ish
Tips for PH and Lodge staff $1000
Gun rentals $250
Hunting License and tags $400ish
Shipping crate for trophies $1400-1800 generally. Ours is going to be about $1600 and we split that 3 ways if you went alone it would be all on you

So about $9,700 then adding any species will make the cost go up.

They cooked a lot of the meat while we were there but obviously they can't cook the volume we killed in a week so all the ranch staff has a perpetually full freezer and they donate a lot of the meat to local towns and a couple of schools and kids homes.
