[Last Edit: Undaunted]
I have a bit of a patch in my pasture. It is dominating a brush pile.

I know there are poisons, but can I deal with it with cleansing fire, since its isolated?

If so, is there any concern with fumes, like poison ivy?

It's in the poison ivy family and can cause similar irritations so I wouldn't attempt to burn it. Spray it with an appropriate herbicide then mechanically remove it after it's dead. Keep an eye out for sprouts from any missed roots and spray them when you see them.

That crap is making its way into GA now, who would have thought a pretty Christmas ornamental would turn out to be such a pain in the ass?
