As the herds have pretty much collapsed.

It is a combination of ice,predators and hunting pressure.


Also moose may not be far behind in some units.

Ice and rain on the tundra will kill a bou herd fast.
Cannot get to food and when the calves drop they die from the ice on the tundra.

Exactly what I heard shortly after our bou hunt last year. Very sad!
