Have been looking for varget for a few months now with no luck. Have checked midsouthshooterssupply, grafs, powdervalley and all out of stock. Natchez has 1 lb but looking for 8lb tub. I guess being so popular its snatched up quick. I am using ramtac now but liked varget better. I am good for now just keeping an eye out if it does come back in stock. Maybe others know of other sites to check out or info on the supply chain. Thanks again

Its everywhere here but the magnum powders are unobtainium

VihtaVuori N140 is reasonably priced now that everything else is off the charts, it's a good time to try it.

Hodgdon was showing it available just now.

It's been awhile since I've bought Varget, let alone any powders.
Are these real prices!? |

It shows up at my local Bass Pro occasionally.

Well I do not think we will see the receding of powder prices at all.
Factor in most powder is not made in the USA. |

jeezuz... $55 for 1 pound?
4064 is pretty damn close to varget to consider $55/LB |
|
|
Local Scheels has it in jugs. I didn't check the price.

You'll probably have to order online.

Shooters World Precision is a direct replacement for Varget. It even looks the same and the charge weight s are the same. I get tighter groups with it as well. It used to cost half as much as Varget before all the craziness..

I just picked up a pound of Varget at the local Runnings last week.
And BL-C(2) is very close to Varget. |

Varget and several other extruded Hodgdon powders that are rarely in stock are made by ADI in Australia. If you don't have some loads for the available powders, it might be worth developing some. |

Local gun show had if for $55lb. I did not buy any.
|
|
|
Midway has it in stock
But they want $65 a pound….. on sale |
|

Found mine not that long ago on Natchez, as well as LRP. At this point it's all about beating the bots to it. When I found the primers, I was as quick as humanly possible and as soon as i had cashed out they were gone. It's a joke, but luckily the supply has been relatively steady, so subscribe to the back in stocks everywhere and just get to it quick!

It’s been all over here every other shipment or so at the 3 local gun stores. Was driving through Iowa at Christmas and stopped at Shields, they had a jug I picked up… what’s up with the cheaper components in Iowa?!? 10-15% less than Wyoming and Montana! Sitting on about 20 now.

I hadn't done any reloading for a while, mainly because I couldn't find the powders.
Got an email from PowederValley today -- the prices are just unrealistic. 1lb of Varget, with shipping and hazmat fees is pretty much $100. If the manufacturers want to get out of the business, they could just say so. Or is this some sort of Biden crap? |

Powder valley has 8 # kegs in stock
|
|

At this point, if it is in stock, and I think I might need it in the next 5 years, I just buy it.
Target Sports USA has Federal 205M's right now, and I picked up 8lbs of Varget at Midsouth late last year. Just use the notify when in stock at as many places as you can, and have your CC in a cross draw holster. I hit several farm auctions a year, and it is crazy what an old milk crate of random rifle ammo goes for if there is even a single box of .32, .35, .348, etc. in there. |

Bobcat armament has it, but it isn't cheap. I lucked into an 8 pounder at cabelas last week.

About five pounds sitting on the shelf at my LGS... too rich for me.
