I have a HOWA 22-250 barreled action that has just been in the corner for four years. I've been working with Ruger and Remington rifles lately that have been converted over to the Savage style nut system and have been having great luck with them. The HOWA is setting here and I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge of anyone doing this currently? I'm not sure what chambering I want so that is also up in the air.

So basically the question is are there any HOWA conversions out there and if not would there be an interest in it? I have a barrel maker that would do one if I ask but he would like to offer it to the public rather than a labor intensive one off set up.

Set me up with a barrel and barrel nut for a Howa mini action.

The old barrel was a bitch to get off.

Man my Howa was a complete dud. It’s just not accurate. One of these days I’m going to swap barrels…I know criterion and preferred barrel blanks make them…not sure who else though.
