FNM is Portuguese, non-corrosive, and very hight quality. Shoot it with confidence.

I had nothing but problems with FNM-79 5.56x45mm ammo. Way too hot and the case wall thickness was an interference fit in some rifles. I have zero experience with their 7.62x51mm ammo.
The 5.56mm brass weighed 108 grains on average empty and unprimed! A full 14 grains heavier than Lake City or Winchester commercial brass made in the USA. |

Very likely to be Berdan primed. Just sayin'
A Decade ago, surplus Port. 308 was very GTG... so it will be dependent on its storage for all these added years. If memory serves me, it was sealed at the neck.. so it might shoot better, if the bullet seal was broke. ( seated slightly shorter ) FWIW... around 2015, you could buy 1K for around $150 plus shipping. |
