Dot drills work great. Buy some of those 2" red/orange or black dots and put a bunch of them on a large piece of cardboard. Begin at 2-3 yards with your pistol at low ready, either on a start signal or whenever you wish, come up and fire one shot. Then try two shots on one dot. Try the same thing from your holster. Then try draw, and fire one shot on each of three dots.
When your accuracy is what you are happy with at 2-3 yards, begin moving to the rear one large step. You can vary this by adding movement: Draw, take two steps to the right, and fire one shot on two different dots.. For the next iteration, do two steps to the left, or two steps in one direction and kneel behind something to represent cover.
There are infinite variations on this very simple exercise. If you want to save some money, cut squares out of some kind of duct tape, and put the squares onto the backer.
Don't get all fussy about speed..it is an accuracy drill. When your accuracy meets with your desires, move back again, try going a little faster, but above all don't shoot any faster than you can hit your target because your stated goal is accuracy.
