I wouldn't give up just yet on shooting left-handed. Losing sight in your left eye has forced you into a cross-dominant situation which is by no means a show stopper. Louis Awerbuck was cross dominant and his skill at shooting handguns (and everything else) was legendary.

Shooting left-handed and sighting with your right eye, be mindful of your x (horizontal) and y (vertical) axes. You need to turn your head to the left to get your right eye behind the sights but you need to do so WITHOUT tilting your head.

A second issue to consider is going back to your eye doctor to make sure you don't have some degree of astigmatism in your right eye. Since your left eye used to be your dominant eye for most of your life, you may not have noticed any issues with your right (non-dominant) eye.

A third issue is the quality of your shooting glasses. It shouldn't make allot of difference at handgun ranges but the cheap $10 shooting glasses from Walmart and other such places have notoriously poor optical quality and can "bend / distort" the visible light spectrum in strange ways.
