All the guys who run a local match are up at a sectional this weekend, so no match.
There is an IDPA match nearby.  I've never shot IDPA.

Next weekend doesn't have a match either.

Should i shoot the IDPA match as practice or just run drills at my club?

If you want to get better at USPSA, practice.  If you want to shoot a match and hang out with people, shoot IDPA.  Shooting matches doesn't do nearly as much as actual, deliberate practice.

Drills.

I feel IDPA is too different and could create bad habbits.

I am finding I do more draws, transitions, and splits in practice than I do at Level 1 matches. More movement and stage planning in matches though since I do not have an outside range.
