Anyone know of anything in the Mid Atlantic region? I am in Maryland, but willing to load the truck up for someone or somewhere recommended. I recently bought a Ruger Precision 6.5 to get into long range shooting and hopefully some hunting.

I am a beginner, never shot at targets longer than 200 with an AR in .223. No prior LE or Mil experience. Looking at various long range courses, I have all the equipment needed, minus some of the optional stuff like shooting mat, spotting scope, ect. I will start purchasing that stuff when I hear my first hit on steel at 1000.....

I found this one online, which is faily close to me. Anyone have experience or know these guys?

Try bangsteel.com.  They are in Wytheville VA. I went there at the end of March and I am going back at the end of September. Great guys, great land to shoot on. I learned a lot.

We've got two courses open right now, an initial/intermediate and an intermediate/advanced.

The advanced has a pre-req that you have trained with us or at any training school we respect.
