Any updates on the Noveske preorder

I placed a deposit for a Noveske lower that was suppose to be in within 6-8 weeks. Any idea how much longer it will take? Also lets just say with the looming new gun laws what happens to the deposit if AR type rifles are no longer legal to purchase?
