We found a small issue which should fix this bug universally. (Across all browsers, regardless of what goofy stuff they do.) I'll try to have it live later today.

Trying to reply using a quote while not impossible, is certainly frustrating. The cursor jumps into the quoted box if you hit the back key too far and you can't get out. Also, if you insert a pic it'll end up in the quote box instead the reply that you're composing unless you get the cursor just right before hitting upload.
The mobile version prior to the update worked well, but something changed and not for the better. |

I'm having issues with the editor... this time trying to capitalize an "I" is making me go into italic mode

To get out of a quote box you have 2 options
1) Click the quote button while you are "trapped" in the quote box and it will get you out. 2) Go into BBCode mode and add some text outside the last quote. We are still working on the quote box situation. Hopefully a fix will go up today. |

Youtube doesn't preview properly in the WYSIWYG editor on Chrome Win10. It still embeds properly in the post though. If I switch to BBCode it displays the tags and link properly but still doesn't show in the preview.

Weird glitch on reload. Some missing avatars, self highlight posts gone, and the system message stuff. Another reload fixed it but I figured I would take a screenshot in case you're interested.

Did you see this one? Some of my media library files have certain characters in them causing the img tag to be cut short this has a tilda ~ https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/54122/IMG_20170809_183956~2-276074.jpg this one has a comma , https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/54122/Photo_Jun_18,_9_29_57_AM_rotate-348166.jpg When selecting files from the media library its not inserting the remainder of the filename when it hits one of those characters The two above get truncated to these https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/54122/IMG_20170809_183956 https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/54122/Photo_Jun_18 |

Firefox 56 linux. Android chrome (dont know version offhand). Just tested both but didn't see a change.
And just so I'm clear - the problem seems to be in the media library. Well he is my issue: I always used Firefox to access the site since joining (newest version Quantum 58) and a few days ago, I just couldn't get a page to even completely load after many tries.....
Cleared cookies & cache, but FF still does not work here. Keeps saying: "reading ar15.com" /"transferring data from ar15.com" & will not load a single page. (just tried a few minutes ago) Had to get IE out to access the site & to post this.... Seems IE is working fine, but prefer using Firefox. Firefox works fine all over the entire net except this site? Any Ideas? |
