Don't forget to join the team and also join the challenge. Right-hand side of this page: https://log.concept2.com/team

The button should say "join team challenge" here instead of leave

Six more days and I'll have "The Stretch" completed.
I did 5k this morning.  Hope to do another 5k this evening. Alex K is tough to stay near!

I was doing the haul then realized my travel precludes me from completing it. Shoulda figured that out before giving myself rest days

New week, back at it! Team meters are a whopping 564,286.

32 of 71 among virtual teams of 6-20

Up to 31 right now!  573,519m

Looks like we are steadily climbing.

Two are in the 90s for km
Three are in the 70s/60s (I'm in here)

The rest are catching up in the 30s etc

I'm only doing 20 mins a day so I expect someone doing more will be making big jumps.

If we keep up this pace we will surpass 1 million as a team

Get it

Not great, not terrible
We're up against some legit rowers in the leading teams, I don't feel too bad.

I got over 20k today for the first time.
And I discovered that gloves are going to do wonders for my hand blisters.

I was getting terrible blisters when I first got my C2 rower.  I picked up these gloves and they’ve been fantastic.  Make sure to get them on the snug side. You don’t want them too big.   I probably have over 4M Meters on this pair:

Rowing gloves

I used to get blisters under the callouses. lol.  One of the best “upgrades” were the gloves. . . I haven’t had a problem since.  Another good purchase for me was the EndureRow seat.  The OEM seat used to rub my tailbone raw. lol.

This is all from the rower:

Oh man, that’s a bummer.  Another thing that helped were these shorts:.

Rowing shorts from JL Racing

There was another poster here in a rowing thread that referred to the shorts that he used as “Ken doll shorts”.  That was because it smashed down his man parts pretty good but made it so he didn’t sit on the boys. lol.

Dumb question time,

Did my usual 500 m interval thing this a.m. and in the past the info updated right to the challenge. Well it didn’t update in the team challenge. Everything was the same, app connected to the pm5, but no update.

What am I missing?

Just ran upstairs and put in a quick 500 and it updated everything as usual. Weird.

Well it looks like it’s working but dang it I missed 4500m in my challenge.

If my math is good you're responsible for two positions on the leaderboard for that workout alone. Well done!

First workout with a HRM -- I bought a polar h10.

I guess women experience this all the time with a bra?  Weird feeling with the chest strap.

Oh well!

I took yesterday off.  Getting back to it today.  I'm like 34 minutes away from hitting 250k for the month.

You guys with the heart rate monitors, which ones connect easily to the C2s?  I've got an old Fitbit that I could break out but I'm reading that the data sharing isn't smooth.

I’ve been using the Polar H10 since I first picked up the C2 in Jan 2019..  I turn on the PM5 and then Ergdata on the phone and it automatically connects.  I wouldn’t use the rower without one now.

Just got the polar H10 and it connects to my phone and presumably the fitness Reality rower as well but I'm only watching the phone and the MyCloudFitness app.

Says it will do multiple connections so I'm sure it would work.
